Brännland Cider releases Brännland Iscider Barrique 2014 to Horeca and Swedish monopoly stores. The previous vintage (2013) sold out quickly in the course of summer and many customers have requested the release of the 2014.

Brännland Iscider Barrique 2014 has been aged for 12 months on a mix of used french oak, previously holding Chablis and Sauternes.
The barrel ageing imparts more layers both on the nose and on the palate. It integrates the residual sugar and acidity without the ice cider losing any of its inherent freshness. The slow oxidation in the barrel implies a sweet wine with a long life. As a food pairing barrel aged ice cider handles any combination that a traditional dessert wine would. Classic desserts with components of berries and apples as well as foie gras or as a meditative wine to be enjoyed on its own.
Brännland Iscider Barrique 2014 is also perfect as a gift together with the ice cider glass, La Pomme, designed by Ingegerd Råman for Brännland Cider.
