At the beginning of November, Brännland Cider, the international award winning cider producer in Umeå, Sweden, started a Kickstarter campaign, "1000 apple trees at Röbäcksdalen", to fund the creation of an orchard and the start new apple terroir in their Northern home county of Västerbotten, not far from the Arctic Circle. The campaign has now ended, with full funding from friends and supporters.

Over the last weeks we have successfully been running our crowdfunding campaign for planting 1000 trees on Röbäcksdalen in Umeå and Sweden’s first Cider terroir, allowing for a step towards developing eco friendly and sustainable apple farming and sharing the knowledge with the world. Now we will take it one step further…

Sweden’s award winning maker of cider, Brännland Cider AB, is offering its Ice Cider on Michelin Star restaurants around the world, just a few years after its founding. The company now wants to give something back to the soil it depends upon and invites everyone to come along for a project, researching sustainable ecological growth of apples for making an even better product.

On November 4th, Brännland Cider releases Brännland Iscider x 3, a limited edition collection of three Brännland Cider Ice ciders. The 1000 multi-packs released contains three 200 ml bottles and the ciders represented in the collection are,Brännland Iscider 2015. Brännland Ciders standard-cuvée made up of 15 different apple varieties and aged in steel tank for 3-6 months. After the resounding success of Brännland Iscider Barrique 2013, Brännland Cider releases Brännland Iscider Barrique 2014.
